Center of Applied Sociology and Prognostication conducts large scale sociological research. Director of Center of applied sociology and prognostication is Candidate of law Olena Volyanska.

Center of Applied Sociology and Prognostication provides the full range of sociological and socio-legal research on various subjects. Center uses modern quantitative and qualitative methods of data collection, has its own network of interviewers and data quality control system in all regions of Ukraine. The center includes highly skilled specialists who have significant achievements in scientific field and experience of applied research. Feature of most empirical studies of Center is that they are an integral part of the comprehensive research of the Institute.

The most significant research of the Center of Applied Sociology and Prognostication related to the assessment of corruption's level, development of national methodology for assessment the level of corruption, the relationship of courts and the media, human rights, courts quality service assessment.
